I started historical reenactment back in 2013. I had befriended a few people from the local renfaire after having worked in shops there.

One day, one of my friends called me up, stating that someone had dropped out of their viking era demonstration and they needed a replacement asap. If i could put together a really simple dress, i could have the part.

So I did. I still have the dress too.

From then, I began to learn sword and board fighting, and things like sewing, spinning, and the religion of the vikings, or what we could possibly figure out from clumsy research.

During the sunset of that era of my life, I was picked up by a group of German mercennaries called the company of the golden cross. they allowed me to borrow kit and it was such a better environment that i fell in with the group easily.

I have since movd out of state and it's harder to attend the events, but I still love them deeply.

Now reenactment has moved to 1586 spanish in st augustine florida and soon, to 1776 revolutionary war.

My passion is 1890s dress, however, and i continue to make myself clothes for that era with nowhere to wear them.
